Our client, Eliassen Group, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to build and support healthcare applications remotely. You will deliver end-to-end features across backend and frontend with emphasis on healthcare integrations, collaborating with clinical and business stakeholders in a remote environment.

The role requires 7-10+ years of hands-on Java/Spring Boot experience, REST APIs, microservices, and modern frontend frameworks. W2 employment with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of professional software development experience with a hands-on focus.
• Expertise in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and web application development.
• Front-end experience with Angular and/or React; React Native preferred.
• Strong SQL skills and relational database experience.
• Experience with Tomcat and Docker.
• Healthcare interoperability experience with HL7 and FHIR, including data exchange.
• Integration experience with Mirth Connect and healthcare data transformation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Java and Spring Boot services, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Build web and mobile UIs using Angular and/or React; React Native preferred.
• Implement HL7/FHIR healthcare data exchange workflows.
• Develop interfaces using Mirth Connect.
• Create and optimize SQL queries and schemas for relational databases.
• Containerize apps with Docker and Tomcat where appropriate.
• Own features from requirements to production support and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with clinical teams and QA in a remote setting.
• Document designs, APIs, and procedures following best practices.
• Participate in issues and sprints with Jira or similar tools.
