Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to build and support healthcare applications. Remote role focusing on backend and frontend with HL7/FHIR integrations. 7–10+ years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and modern frontend frameworks is required.

You will work remotely, collaborate with clinical teams, and own features end-to-end. W2 employment is offered with benefits; rate ranges from $70.00 to $80.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of hands-on software development experience in backend and frontend.
• Expertise in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices and web apps.
• Healthcare data exchange experience with HL7/FHIR and integration tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Java/Spring Boot services and microservices.
• Build web/mobile UIs with Angular or React; React Native preferred.
• Implement HL7/FHIR healthcare data exchanges and use Mirth Connect.
• Create and optimize SQL schemas; containerize apps with Docker/Tomcat.
• Own features from requirements to production support and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with clinical teams, QA, and stakeholders; document APIs.
