Job summary

Tier4 Group is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to support a high-performing enterprise PMO with a diverse portfolio of strategic technology initiatives. This remote contract role requires strong leadership to drive complex projects, manage executive stakeholders, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery across multiple tech domains.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in IT PM within enterprise environments, formal PMO experience, and proven Jira proficiency.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT Project Management experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience within a formal PMO structure.
• Strong Jira experience with tracking, reporting, and workflow management.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated executive stakeholder management experience.
• Strong financial management experience, including budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple enterprise technology projects through the full project lifecycle.
• Partner with business leaders, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, risk registers, and dependency tracking.
• Facilitate project meetings, steering committees, and executive status reviews.
• Identify risks and issues while implementing mitigation and recovery plans.
• Drive accountability across project teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Manage stakeholder communications across all levels of the organization.
• Prepare and present executive-level project updates and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with PMO standards, governance processes, and project controls.
• Track project budgets, forecasts, resource plans, and financial performance.
• Utilize Jira and related project management tools to effectively manage and report on project progress.
• Coordinate project planning, testing, deployment, and implementation activities.
