Job summary

Symetra is seeking a Sr. Investment Fund Analyst to lead investment data analysis and reporting for the fund's portfolio.

The role supports investor relations, accounting, performance attribution, and compliance while working remotely with periodic travel to the Farmington, CT office for events. The candidate will oversee NAV calculations, coordinate with external accounting services, and contribute to process improvements using technology and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of experience in Investment Operations/Fund Administration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently and in a team.
• Experience with Fund Accounting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Investment Analysis and Reporting: gather and analyze investment data to prepare reports on the fund's portfolio and support annual audit.
• Investor Relations: communicate with investors; process subscription and redemption orders; report on transaction activity.
• Fund Accounting: oversee external Investment Accounting Service; review journal entries and NAV calculations; distribute income to investors.
• Investment Compliance: monitor fund term sheets and investment guidelines; ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Investment Operations Support: assist with reconciliations, trade entry, settlements, and daily deliverables.
