Jerry.ai is seeking an Insurance Compliance & Regulatory Senior Lead to join our Insurance Operations team.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Insurance Ops, this role is ideal for an experienced insurance operations leader who excels at solving complex systemic issues, building rigorous compliance frameworks, and acting as the strategic bridge between our customers, carrier partners, state regulators, and internal product teams.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license required or willingness to obtain quickly.
• 5+ years of insurance experience, including 3+ years in state regulatory compliance.
• 2+ years in a team lead or supervisory role.
• Proven track record of managing DOI inquiries and carrier audits.
• Strong knowledge of NAIC model regulations and state insurance codes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to regulatory detail.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Escalation Operations: Oversee end-to-end investigation and de-escalation for critical customer complaints.
• Own DOI and Insurance Carrier Responses: Manage carrier audits and state regulatory complaint workflows; author, review, and finalize official correspondence.
• Systemic Root-Cause Resolution: Partner with Legal, Product, and Engineering to convert audit findings into product changes and process fixes.
• Complaint Log & Compliance Controls: Own the complaint log, workflows, and audit-ready records for market conduct examinations.
• Carrier Relationship & Claims Support: Serve as the operational liaison for carrier partners during high-stakes investigations and inquiries.
• Team Guidance & Coaching: Provide operational guidance, quality oversight, and SME support to team members.
• Regulatory Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of complaint trends and regulatory correspondence for timely responses.
