Job summary

Jerry.ai seeks an Insurance Compliance & Regulatory Senior Lead to join the Insurance Operations team. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Insurance Ops and focuses on solving systemic compliance issues, building rigorous frameworks, and coordinating with customers, regulators, and product teams.

You will lead escalation operations, manage DOI and carrier responses, drive root-cause resolution with cross-functional partners, and ensure audit-ready records while mentoring a team in a fully

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license (or willingness to obtain)
• 5+ years of insurance experience, including 3+ years in state insurance and regulatory compliance
• 2+ years in a team lead or supervisory role
• Proven track record of managing state regulatory inquiries and carrier audits
• Strong knowledge of NAIC model regulations and market conduct standards, ability to translate into policy and practice
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to legal detail
• Experience using data to drive cross-functional product and operational improvements
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end investigation and de-escalation for complex customer complaints
• Manage carrier audits and state regulatory complaint workflows; draft official correspondence
• Partner withLegal, Product, and Engineering to convert audit findings into product changes
• Own the complaint log and related workflows; ensure audit-ready records
• Serve as operational liaison for carrier partners during high-stakes investigations
• Provide guidance and coaching to team on compliance and claims support
• Maintain audit-ready regulatory reporting and documentation
