Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to support the account team remotely within the Eastern and Central Time Zones, with on-site opportunities in Florida as needed.

You will handle policy processing, renewals, and client communications, guiding day-to-day tasks under supervision of AMs and producers. The role emphasizes service excellence, accuracy, and strong insurance knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CISR preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow for team support and account staff.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, and billing documents.
• Support new and renewal business, prepare submissions, and assist in proposals.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status with the account team.
