Job summary

Syniverse is seeking aSr. Infrastructure and Capacity Optimization Engineer to own daily reporting and capacity data decisions.

You will work with infrastructure engineers, product owners and operations teams to intake requests, maintain datasets and dashboards, and follow established processes for updates and status reporting. The role emphasizes data accuracy, engineering standards, and the ability to create and maintain vendor data, BOM references, and recurring reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily reporting, validating accuracy and expansion of capacity data in adherence to engineering standards.
• Create hardware/quote/work requests from stakeholders and route items per process.
• Daily ownership of work-queue hygiene for infrastructure/capacity requests and follow up on missing information.
• Create and maintain vendor and partner data (pricing, lead times, availability) into Excel templates.
• Perform first-pass validation and flag exceptions to senior engineers.
• Generate recurring reports and basic dashboards and distribute to stakeholders.
