Job summary

Syniverse seeks a Sr. Infrastructure and Capacity Optimization Engineer to manage daily capacity data, validating accuracy and expanding datasets. You will work with infrastructure engineers, product owners, and operations to intake requests and maintain dashboards and BOM trackers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of IT infrastructure management and capacity planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily reporting, validating accuracy and expansion of capacity data per engineering standards.
• Create hardware/quote/work requests; assign fields, categorize, route items.
• Maintain vendor data, BOM trackers, and dashboards; ensure SLA adherence.
• Perform first-pass validation of submitted data and flag inconsistencies.
• Generate recurring reports and basic dashboards for stakeholders.
• Support incident and change review documentation with timelines and actions.
