Job summary

Alkami Technology, Inc. seeks a Sr Project Manager, Implementation to lead complex client implementation projects across Alkami Digital Banking solutions.

This role manages portfolios, coordinates cross-functional teams, and drives customer-facing execution. The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of experience in SaaS/fintech, a Bachelor’s degree, strong scheduling and communication skills, and proficiency with Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, Confluence, and Slack.

Qualifications

• Experience leading implementation projects and customer-facing delivery.
• Strong project scheduling, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination.
• Ability to independently manage multiple concurrent projects with varying complexity levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing project risks, escalations, and implementation dependencies.
• Familiarity with fintech, SaaS, or digital banking is preferred.
• Experience mentoring project coordinators or junior project managers.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex implementation projects by developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules, coordinating cross‑functional activities, and ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget expectations.
• Serve as the primary implementation lead for assigned customers by proactively managing communication, aligning stakeholder expectations, and fostering strong customer relationships throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Coordinate implementation activities across Product Development, Customer Success, Technical Consulting, Technical Implementation, Engineering, Customer Support, and vendor teams to drive alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
• Analyze project risks and operational challenges by identifying dependencies, evaluating impacts, and developing mitigation strategies that support successful implementation outcomes.
• Manage Jira tickets, project backlogs, and customer‑reported issues by prioritizing resolution efforts and coordinating cross‑functional support activities.
