The Sr Project Manager, Implementation serves as an experienced implementation delivery professional responsible for leading complex client implementation projects across Alkami Digital Banking solutions. This role independently manages diverse project portfolios, coordinates cross-functional delivery activities, and drives customer-facing project execution to ensure successful implementation outcomes, operational alignment, and customer satisfaction. The position applies advanced project management expertise, stakeholder engagement skills, and problem‑solving capabilities to manage implementation complexity, mitigate delivery risks, and support successful onboarding and post‑launch activities. The Sr Project Manager, Implementation operates independently on complex engagements, contributes to process improvements, and influences project delivery best practices that improve implementation quality, scalability, and customer experience.
Minimum Years of Experience 3–6 years of experience leading implementation projects, customer onboarding initiatives, project delivery programs, or client‑facing operational engagements within SaaS, fintech, banking technology, or related environments. Education Level Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Information Systems, Communications, or a related field. Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications Required Advanced experience managing complex implementation projects and customer‑facing delivery activities Strong project scheduling, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional coordination skills Ability to independently manage multiple concurrent projects with varying complexity levels Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical and non‑technical stakeholders Experience managing project risks, escalations, and implementation dependencies Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, Confluence, Slack, or similar platforms Strong analytical, organizational, and customer relationship management skills Ability to drive customer‑centric implementation experiences while balancing operational priorities Preferred Experience supporting fintech, SaaS, or digital banking implementation projects Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies Working knowledge of SQL, technical implementation concepts, or integration coordination activities Experience contributing to process optimization or operational improvement initiatives Experience mentoring project coordinators or junior project managers Exposure to project financial management, forecasting, or resource planning activities.
The salary range for this position is: $106,000 - $118,400
