Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Senior IAM Platform Leader to guide the architecture and delivery of our identity and access management stack. You will own design direction, work across product teams, and ensure reliability and security of critical authentication services.

You will mentor engineers, influence cross-team priorities, and help shape the roadmap for scalable access control across AWS and GCP deployments.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience leading multi-team initiatives and negotiating priorities.
• Experience shipping Go-based services on Kubernetes in cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
• Strong focus on reliability, security, and scalable access control.
• Ability to mentor engineers and drive architectural decisions across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of a granular access control platform used by multiple product teams.
• Own reliability and security posture of production IAM services, including SLOs and audits.
• Collaborate with product management to align roadmaps with customer needs and buildable plans.
• Mentor engineers and grow the IAM team through hiring and onboarding.
