Tetra Tech is seeking an Intermediate/Senior Project Engineer - Hydropower and Water Resources to join our Power team. This remote role supports complex hydropower and water infrastructure projects across Canada and the United States, coordinating design, reviews, and delivery from planning through construction.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, interface management, and collaboration with Project Managers, discipline leads, clients, and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Structural, Geotechnical or related engineering field.
• PE or P.Eng registration or eligibility expected.
• 7+ years progressive engineering experience in hydropower or water resources.

Responsabilités

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering activities for hydropower and water projects from planning to construction.
• Develop design basis documents, reports, schedules, and technical documentation.
• Plan and lead design reviews, constructability reviews, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate interfaces, track deliverables, and manage quality processes.
• Interface with owners, clients, contractors, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and support multidisciplinary teams.
• Travel periodically to project sites across North America.
