Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior Hydropower FERC Licensing Program Manager to lead and expand our national hydropower licensing, compliance, and regulatory services practice.

This role directs FERC licensing, relicensing, and related regulatory activities for hydropower and water resources projects across the United States, with remote work within the U.S. and travel as needed to support clients and projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in environmental permitting or hydropower licensing.
• 7+ years of FERC hydropower licensing, relicensing, or compliance.
• Strong client management and leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of the Federal Power Act and regulatory processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead hydropower licensing and compliance programs.
• Direct FERC licensing projects and agency coordination.
• Develop strategies for regulatory approvals and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead proposals, capture, and business development.
• Manage project budgets, staffing, and risk.
