Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a Senior Estimator to support utility-scale substation, transmission, renewable energy, and data center projects across the United States. This fully remote role offers long-term growth in a leading EPC contractor.

The Senior Estimator will develop detailed EPC estimates, perform cost analyses, and evaluate supplier pricing while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of estimating experience in power delivery.
• Proven ability in estimating substation, transmission, and distribution projects.
• EPC estimating experience preferred.
• Experience with utility-scale solar, storage, or data centers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed EPC estimates for substation and transmission projects.
• Perform quantity take-offs and cost analyses for electrical infrastructure.
• Prepare and evaluate vendor/subcontractor RFQs.
• Review supplier pricing and negotiate terms.
• Build and maintain vendor/subcontractor relationships.
• Support proposal development and preconstruction efforts.
• Review drawings, specs, and engineering docs for accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineering, PM, procurement, and construction teams.
• Mentor and develop junior estimating staff.
