Qualifications

• Experience estimating utility electrical construction projects.
• Background in Transmission & Distribution, Substation, Power Generation, BESS or related utility markets.
• Strong understanding of utility construction methods and project costs.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals for utility construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Perform quantity take-offs and develop labor, equipment, and material pricing.
• Solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Identify project risks and opportunities during the bidding process.
• Work with project management and operations during preconstruction activities.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and bid strategy development.
