Jobot is seeking a Permanent Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team. The role focuses on accurate cost estimates for high voltage transmission line projects, requiring a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and at least 5 years of experience.

The position offers hybrid/remote work with 100% company-paid benefits and limited travel. You will review drawings, prepare bids, collaborate with PMs, engineers and contractors, and analyze suppliers for best cost.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical estimating for construction.
• Experience with EHV transmission lines and transmission line construction.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings to determine scope, cost, materials, and labor.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bids for EHV transmission line projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors for information.
• Analyze suppliers and contractors to secure best cost-effective deals.
• Use Microsoft Office to prepare reports and track project costs.
