Job summary

The Zebra seeks a Sr. HR Information Systems Analyst to own the People systems ecosystem end to end. You will map data flows, ensure data integrity, and automate workflows across HR tools, including Paylocity and Ashby, with deep system configuration knowledge.

This role blends systems engineering with People Ops, requiring collaborative design with IT, Compliance, and Legal. Remote-friendly across the US with optional Austin hybrid options.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related HRIS experience with or without a Bachelor's degree; or 3+ years with a Master's.
• Deep hands-on HRIS configuration and administration experience — ownership of systems.
• Ability to listen to problems and implement solutions across departments.
• Capable of cross-functional collaboration to achieve success.
• Knowledge of integrations and APIs; Jira proficiency required.
• Experience with AI/automation tools to streamline processes.
• Strong data skills: Excel/Sheets, reporting, data reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical owner for the HR systems stack and design scalable workflows.
• Design and improve onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, and compliance workflows.
• Define requirements and drive design for Jira intake framework with IT.
• Apply AI/automation to reduce manual tasks and improve self-service.
• Own HR data integrity, audits, and source-of-truth documentation.
• Manage integrations between HR tools and vendors; monitor for failures.
