Job summary

Valkyrie Enterprises, Inc. in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Lead HRIS Analyst who blends HR expertise with hands-on technical skills and an automation mindset.

This individual contributor will lead transitions of our HRIS, ATS, and LMS while managing daily system operations and workforce reporting, with collaboration across IT and Payroll. You will build Power BI dashboards, define workforce metrics, and partner with the Data/AI Team to pilot AI solutions that improve HR efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HRIS or HR technology.
• Experience supporting HR systems in a large, global company.
• Hands-on HRIS, ATS, and LMS transitions and migrations.
• Strong HR operations knowledge across recruiting, onboarding, payroll, and learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead platform transitions through requirements, vendor evaluation, configuration, data migration and reconciliation, integration and user acceptance testing, launch, and stabilization.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and vendors; coordinate implementation decisions and payroll readiness with HR, Payroll, IT, and business partners.
• Own daily system configuration, workflows, integrations, troubleshooting; maintain access controls, data quality, and documentation to support reliable, compliant operations.
• Build Microsoft Power BI dashboards and HRIS reports, define consistent workforce metrics, and explain findings to leaders.
• Identify repetitive HR work and implement automation; collaborate with the Data/AI Team as needed to pilot AI solutions and measure efficiency, accuracy, and adoption.
• Train HR, managers, and employees, maintain user guides, and coordinate system releases and post‑launch support.
