The CSI Companies are seeking a Remote Senior HIM Inpatient Coder to maintain high-quality ICD-10-CM/PCS coding for inpatient diagnoses and procedures. The role supports clinical documentation and coding accuracy while working remotely from designated states.

You will review documentation, abstract data, and ensure compliance with official guidelines, collaborating with the HIM team to support accurate billing and reduce denials. Experience with Epic is required.

Competenze

• Minimum 3+ years' experience in inpatient coding with accuracy 95%+.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding for inpatient diagnoses and procedures.
• Experience with Epic or similar EHR software.

Mansioni

• Assign ICD-10-CM/PCS codes per official guidelines.
• Review clinical documentation to determine MS-DRG/APR-DRG assignments.
• Abstract data into the EMR and validate orders and dispositions.
• Collaborate with Clinical Documentation Specialists to ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and high coding accuracy.
