Job summary

Stryker is seeking a customer-facing Implementation Engineer to lead planning, design, integration, deployment, testing, and validation of healthcare communication solutions in complex customer environments. You will work with EHRs, nurse call, and monitoring systems, applying structured methodologies and ensuring security practices.

The role requires collaboration with internal teams, travel up to 40%, and deployment across Windows and Linux platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Minimum 2 years of customer-facing technical services or support experience.
Preferred: HL7 integrations or healthcare IT interoperability.
Experience with VMware vCenter in large production environments.
Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix) and configuration management tools (Ansible).
Experience with TCP/IP networking and security fundamentals, plus network load balancers.
Structured implementation methodologies with end-to-end testing.
Experience integrating nurse call and/or patient monitoring systems.
Willingness to deploy technology in the healthcare market.

Responsibilities

Plan, design, install, configure, test, and validate healthcare solutions in customer environments.
Integrate with external systems like EHRs, nurse call, patient monitoring, and telephony.
Perform technical discovery and gather infrastructure, networking, and integration requirements.
Install and troubleshoot solutions on Windows Server and Linux environments.
Troubleshoot issues across application, server, network, database, and integration layers.
Apply TCP/IP networking and security fundamentals in deployments.
Collaborate with clinical leads to translate requirements into configurations.
Execute structured implementation methodologies from discovery to support transition.
Develop and execute end-to-end test plans for solution validation.
Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams during the lifecycle.
Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and issues clearly.
Follow security practices to protect sensitive information.
