Job summary

Paragon Environmental Services, LLC is seeking a Sr Hazardous Building Materials Specialist to lead surveys and industrial hygiene monitoring for asbestos, lead, PCBs, and other hazards. This remote role requires extensive field experience, coordination with federal agencies, and the ability to manage multiple projects with quality reporting.

You will oversee budgets, develop proposals, mentor staff, and ensure safety, compliance, and timely delivery of project milestones.

Qualifications

• Education required: High school diploma or GED.
• 10+ years of hazardous materials testing experience.
• Experience with federal agencies (USACE, DoD, EPA, etc.).
• Ability to obtain access to federal facilities and drive.

Responsibilities

• Conduct HBMS for asbestos, lead, PCBs and other hazardous materials.
• Perform IH monitoring for airborne contaminants and mold assessments.
• Prepare proposals, work plans, fieldwork, reports, and client communications.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and manage subcontractors.
• Deliver monthly progress reports and ensure contract compliance.
