Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Sr. Grant Administrator to lead and coordinate complex grant-funded operations on the Voices for Healthy Kids team.

This role offers home-based work options and involves serving as a key liaison across program strategy, finance, and compliance to ensure efficient, auditable grant processes. You will manage budgets, deliverables, and reporting while guiding cross-functional teams to align with funder objectives and organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of meaningful experience.
• Strong skills in accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with grant compliance and management.

Responsibilities

• Integrates grant requirements into program management and maintains records.
• Coordinates budget development with internal teams and funder expectations.
• Monitors budgets, analyzes expenditures, and reports variances.
• Collaborates across finance, legal, operations, and other teams.
• Maintains audit-ready documentation and internal controls.
• Acts as Voices technology coordinator for grantmaking systems.
• Leads or participates in cross-functional initiatives.
• Mentors staff and supports grant-making improvements.
