Job summary

The American Heart Association has an opportunity for a Sr. Grant Administrator as part of the Voices for Healthy Kids team. This role coordinates the strategic operational execution of a major grant-funded department and serves as a cross-functional liaison among program strategy, financial management, compliance, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of meaningful experience.
• Strong accounting, budgeting and grant-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Integrates grant requirements into the program and monitors processes.
• Coordinates program budget development and facilitation with leadership.
• Monitor budgets and expenditures, analyze financial activity and provide variance reporting.
• Coordinates work with internal stakeholders across functions.
• Develop and maintain internal systems, controls, and documentation.
• Act as the Voices technology coordinator to optimize grant systems.
• Build relationships with internal teams and grantees for high-quality outcomes.
• Lead or contribute to cross-functional initiatives and project teams.
• Contributes to operational planning for grant-making and efficiency.
