Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Sr. Grant Administrator for the Voices for Healthy Kids team. This home-based role coordinates complex, multi-million-dollar grant operations across strategy, finance, and compliance to ensure efficiency, accountability, and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Integrates grant requirements into the program and monitors processes.
• Coordinates program budget development and facilitation in collaboration with Mission Advancement, the Office of Funded Programs, and leadership teams.
• Monitor budgets and expenditures, analyze financial activity, and provide variance reporting, forecasting, and reconciliation guidance.
• Coordinates work with key internal stakeholders within and across staff functions.
• Develop and maintain internal systems, controls, and documentation to support audit readiness.
• Act as the Voices technology coordinator, partnering with Business Technologies to optimize systems and tools supporting grantmaking and reporting.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and grantees.
• Lead or contribute to cross-functional initiatives and project teams requiring coordination.
• Contributes to operational planning for grant-making efforts through innovation and system enhancements.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and oversight to team members and cross-functional partners; may serve in a team lead or player/coach capacity.
