Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Sr. Grant Administrator to support the Voices for Healthy Kids team in coordinating a multi-million-dollar grant program. This home-based role serves as a key liaison among program strategy, finance, compliance, and operations.

You translate program goals into budgets, systems, and processes that ensure efficiency, accountability, and impact. Responsibilities include monitoring grant spending, reporting, and collaborating with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of meaningful experience in grant management or related fields.
• Strong accounting, budgeting and financial reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Integrates grant requirements into program management and maintains records and systems.
• Monitors budgets and spending, provides forecasts and variance analysis.
• Collaborates with finance, legal, operations and development teams.
• Ensures policy compliance and audit readiness across functions.
• Act as Voices technology coordinator to optimize grant systems and reporting.
• Builds relationships with internal teams and external partners.
• Leads cross-functional initiatives and supports strategic planning for grants.
• Drives transparency and efficiency in grant-making processes.
• Provides coaching and oversight to team members and partners.
