Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years backend software development experience.
• 3+ years hands-on Go (Golang) development.
• Strong PostgreSQL experience including schema design and tuning.
• Experience designing REST APIs and distributed services.
• Docker experience and containerized deployments.
• Agile development and modern CI/CD practices.
• Strong data structures, algorithms and design principles.
• Proficiency in additional backend languages such as Java, C#, .NET, Rust, or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and service-based architectures.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data structures.
• Troubleshoot, refactor, and improve performance, reliability and maintainability.
• Develop and deploy containerized apps using cloud-native practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.
• Support production environments and resolve complex issues.
