Qualifications

• 4+ years of production Go (Golang) backend experience.
• Experience building distributed backend systems in production.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture and API design.
• Experience designing relational database schemas and SQL.
• Experience building production web apps, services, or APIs.
• Ability to own technical problems from design through production.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Clear, concise explanations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborative, low-ego approach to engineering and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production backend systems using Go.
• Develop scalable, reliable APIs and distributed services.
• Design and evolve database schemas and data models.
• Build and maintain systems using SQL/PostgreSQL.
• Contribute to infrastructure, deployment, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with Kubernetes and cloud-native environments.
• Implement observability through metrics, alerting, logging, and tracing.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and other stakeholders.
• Help shape technical architecture and engineering best practices.
