Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership (state to be specified based on location).
• 7+ years of relevant legal experience spanning commercial contracting, dispute resolution, and litigation.
• Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements (MSAs, SOWs, SaaS/technology services agreements).
• Direct experience managing or supporting litigation, arbitration, or collections matters, including oversight of outside counsel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global Customer Success legal team, overseeing equitable work allocation, matter routing, and triage through the intake system, and monitoring volume and matter type to proactively reduce legal workload.
• Oversee tiered escalation paths and determine appropriate handling by non-attorney specialists, attorneys, or escalation to leadership or litigation teams.
• Provide legal guidance for policy escalations and legal matter intake.
• Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, amendments, and related customer agreements to reduce enterprise risk.
• Advise on term renewals, price changes, and contractual deviations; manage requests for copies, terms, and certificates.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on litigation and enforcement actions and perform cost‑benefit and risk analyses.
• Advise leadership on litigation exposure and strategy for high‑exposure matters.
