Scandit is hiring a Senior Accountant, GL for a 6-month fixed-term contract. Fully remote within Poland.

You will own the general ledger for a defined set of entities, manage month-end close, VAT compliance, intercompany processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements. The role requires 5+ years of GL accounting in international setups, NetSuite proficiency, and strong English with excellent Excel skills.

Formación

• 5+ years of GL accounting in an international multi-entity environment.
• Ability to close a set of entities independently with limited handover.
• Strong VAT understanding on cross-border EU transactions.
• Experience with statutory and management reporting across jurisdictions.
• Experience preparing statutory FS and supporting external audits.
• Proficient in NetSuite including multi-currency accounting.
• Experience with system implementations or process automation is a plus.
• Finance degree, English fluency and strong Excel skills.

Responsabilidades

• Own the general ledger for assigned entities, incl. fixed assets, accruals, prepayments and FX revaluation.
• Prepare month-end and year-end close with reconciliations and open-item clearance.
• Analyse income statement and balance sheet variances for the entities.
• Prepare and post intercompany calculations and invoices.
• Prepare VAT returns and statutory reporting; assist audits.
• Review AP postings for correct VAT treatment and coding.
• Investigate and clear unidentified bank postings for entities.
• Collaborate with AP/AR/Tax/Treasury to ensure accurate accounting.
• Support process improvements and NetSuite roadmap across areas.
