Job summary

OpenKrill is seeking a Senior Staff Generative AI Application Engineer based in the United States to lead development of AI-powered enterprise software using Claude Code and agentic workflows. You will design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure applications, modernize legacy systems, and collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams to deliver production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher with relevant software engineering experience.
Five years of professional software engineering experience.
Hands-on with Claude Code and agentic development workflows.
Understanding of secure coding practices and software architecture.
Experience deploying enterprise applications in cloud environments.
Familiarity with CI/CD and automated validation.

Responsibilities

Architect AI-powered applications using Claude Code and agentic workflows.
Modernize legacy systems with AI-assisted replacement solutions.
Develop modular software with robust APIs and cloud-native services.
Maintain and improve AI-generated code and deployment pipelines.
Collaborate with business and product teams to translate requirements into designs.
