Belltower Fund Group is seeking a Fund Accounting Senior Associate to support accounting, valuation, and reporting for funds on the AngelList platform. You will review post-close actions for valuation updates and assist with investor inquiries.

You will collaborate with fund leads and cross-functional teams to ensure timely financial reporting, NAV calculations, and fee allocations, while exploring automation opportunities.

Competenze

• 3+ years of demonstrated operational excellence in financial sector, including Fund Administration or Public Accounting.
• CPA license strongly preferred and academic track record
• Experience preparing financial statements per US GAAP and supporting audits.

Mansioni

• Manage day-to-day accounting and administration for a portfolio of private funds (venture capital, private equity, etc.).
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements per US GAAP.
• Calculate and review NAVs, capital accounts, management fees, carried interest, investor allocations.
• Process capital calls, distributions, investor transfers, and other fund transactions with accuracy.
• Reconcile cash, investments, bank accounts, and balance sheet items; investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax specialists, and fund managers for audits and compliance.
• Build relationships with clients, respond to inquiries, and communicate accounting matters clearly.
• Identify process improvements and explore AI/automation opportunities.
