Belltower Fund Group is seeking a Fund Accounting Senior Manager to lead accounting, valuation, and reporting for 27,000+ funds on the AngelList platform. You will resolve exceptions, handle investor inquiries, and advance the automation of fund reporting processes.

Reporting to the Fund Accounting Director, you will collaborate across teams, interface with fund leads, investors, and external auditors, and mentor a growing team of accountants to ensure high-quality financial statements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in investment company accounting with CPA preferred.
• Experience at a public accounting firm or fund administrator.
• Proficiency in US GAAP (ASC 946, ASC 820).
• Experience preparing financial statements for funds, including footnotes.
• Experience improving control environments and SOC 1 processes.
• Experience coordinating with external auditors.
• Self-motivated with proactive work style.
• Excellent communication with portfolio companies and investors.

Responsabilités

• Oversee accounting and reporting for 27,000+ funds.
• Develop process descriptions, matrices, and flow charts for key controls.
• Onboard new clients from existing administrators and service providers.
• Interact with external auditors to ensure timely fund audits.
• Oversee events and data evaluation for investment valuations.
• Coach and supervise a team of accountants.
• Ensure fund accounting in accordance with US GAAP (ASC 946/ASC 820).
• Collaborate with engineering to drive automation.
