Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Patching team, focusing on backend Java/Kotlin and React front-end components that power patching across all endpoints we manage.

You will collaborate with AI workflow, server, and platform teams to extend patch management capabilities at scale, participate in architecture reviews, and help deliver reliable, API-first software. Hybrid or remote options available in the USA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of Java software development experience, Kotlin expertise, and backend focus.
• 2+ years of React frontend development experience.
• 4+ years of experience with highly scalable software systems.
• Experience leveraging AI tooling to accelerate software development.
• Knowledge of API best practices and REST service development.
• Relational database design and development experience.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Extend and maintain patching definitions across OS and third-party apps.
• Develop Java/Kotlin backend to expose patch management functions.
• Build and maintain React UI components for patching workflows.
• Collaborate with AI workflow, server, and platform teams.
• Participate in architecture reviews for scalable API-first software.
• Troubleshoot production issues across the stack.
• Contribute to code reviews and cross-team initiatives.
