Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Patching team, focusing on backend Java/Kotlin with React front-end pieces. You will extend patching capabilities at scale and collaborate across AI workflow, server, and platform teams.

You will work on architectures for reliable, scalable patch delivery, troubleshoot production issues, and lead cross-team initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid remote work supported in the USA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/IT or equivalent.
• 10+ years of Java development; Kotlin expertise.
• 2+ years React front-end experience.
• 4+ years building scalable software systems.
• Experience with AI tooling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Extend and maintain patching definitions across OS and third-party apps.
• Java/Kotlin backend development to expose patching functions.
• Build React UI components for patching workflows and dashboards.
• Collaborate with AI workflow, server and platform teams.
• Participate in architecture reviews for scalable API-first software.
• Troubleshoot production issues across the stack.
• Lead cross-team initiatives and document processes.
• Other duties as needed.
