Job summary
Defense Unicorns is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our Fleet team, focused on building fleet and edge management capabilities within the UDS platform. You will own the frontend experience and work across the stack with backend and platform engineers to deliver data-driven interfaces for distributed systems.
The role emphasizes working on complex state management, real-time data, and API integrations in an asynchronous, remote environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of frontend or fullstack development.
- Strong proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (Svelte or React preferred; Angular or similar acceptable).
- Strong familiarity with modern frontend tooling and build system best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, maintainable frontend applications.
- Collaborate with product, UX, and backend engineers to define and implement features.
- Translate complex backend capabilities into clear and usable interfaces.
- Write clean, testable, and well-structured code.
- Develop and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end).
- Contribute to frontend architecture and technical decisions.
- Identify and improve performance, reliability, and usability issues.
- Work effectively in a remote, asynchronous environment.
