Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Fleet Maintenance team to craft new functionality for efficient fleet maintenance. You will work across the web stack, balancing frontend and backend tasks while delivering quality code for tens of thousands of users.

Ideal candidates show product-minded, team-oriented approaches, strong communication, and a track record of shipping scalable software.

Qualifications

5+ years of Ruby on Rails development.
2+ years of ReactJS and Typescript experience.
Experience building full stack web applications.
Experience owning ambiguous cross-functional technical initiatives.
Ability to discuss tradeoffs between speed, quality, maintainability and business impact.
Collaborates with Product Managers and Designers to balance requirements.
Pixel-perfect attention to UI details.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver high-quality software.
Plan, design, and implement fleet maintenance solutions for customers.
Engage in collaborative design and architecture of features.
Deliver well-tested, maintainable, and performant code.
Research and prototype new approaches to validate feasibility.
Contribute to development planning with a strong voice.
