Job summary

AssetWatch seeks a Full-Stack Engineer to help build and optimize its cloud-based IoT SaaS platform. You will work across frontend, backend, and APIs using Node.js, React, TypeScript, and AWS serverless services.

You will design scalable, observable solutions, mentor peers in AI-assisted development, and contribute to engineering best practices while supporting production systems and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering React web applications integrated with databases (MySQL, SQL Server).
• Strong professional experience building production applications in TypeScript and React.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
• Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, CloudWatch, Datadog).
• Secure software development practices including least-privilege access and secrets management.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted development tools and responsible review before merge.

Responsibilities

• Develop new cloud application features from React to AWS endpoints.
• Own solutions and improvements from design through production.
• Design scalable, observable architectures and write design/ migration docs.
• Support production systems with monitoring, incident response, and reliability improvements.
• Assist with CI/CD and automated testing, peer code reviews.
• Mentor engineers on AI tools and engineering best practices.
• Improve SDLC tooling, automation, and standards.
• Collaborate across teams to maintain clear API and data contracts.
• Improve coding standards and shared patterns.
• Use AI tools to accelerate planning and debugging with human oversight.
• Review AI-assisted work for quality, security, and maintainability.
