Job summary

AssetWatch, Inc. is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help build and enhance our cloud-based IoT SaaS platform. You will work across frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend on AWS, focusing on scalable, observable solutions and secure development practices.

You will mentor engineers, contribute to architecture decisions, and leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate planning, implementation, and testing while ensuring quality and security.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering React web applications with backend integration.
• Hands-on with TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience building cloud-native apps on AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, ECS).
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiar with CI/CD, testing, and security best practices.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud features from React to AWS services and databases.
• Own design through production, including documentation and migration plans.
• Collaborate across teams to define contracts and standards.
• Mentor peers and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Support reliability, observability, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
• Review AI-assisted work for quality, security and maintainability.
