SmartAsset is seeking a capable Web Platform Engineer to help build and evolve our content-driven web systems. You will work on a dynamic engineering team, contributing to both front-end and back-end services within a modern, scalable architecture.

The role requires 3+ years of experience with ReactJS, NodeJS, and AWS, plus strong SQL and a collaborative, initiative-taking attitude. This position offers remote work within the contiguous US and competitive equity options.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building, maintaining and scaling high-availability web platforms.
• Proficiency in ReactJS and NodeJS for modular, modern web apps.
• Strong SQL and relational databases; experience with AWS recommended.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical and architectural domains of our web platform.
• Be part of an AGILE SCRUM team to run and scale the website and web products.
• Collaborate with product and stakeholders to complete sprint commitments.
• Document technical decisions and improve processes during revamps.
• Guide technical designs to align with the team's roadmap.
