Job summary

Norstella is building Forge — a greenfield agentic platform replacing the SDLC with autonomous multi-agent orchestration. You will work across the stack, from orchestration to RAG pipelines and safety primitives, shipping production-grade AI agents.

You will tackle agent memory, cross-agent trust, and scalable cost attribution, joining a team delivering real-world AI at scale in a regulated industry.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Production experience with agentic frameworks and production systems.
• Experience with memory architectures and long-term state persistence.
• Proficient in Python and/or TypeScript; able to own production agent code.

Responsibilities

• Design and build agents across Forge chain, including orchestration and RAG pipelines.
• Own multi-agent coordination architecture and recovery across the graph.
• Build and evolve the MCP server layer with tool schemas and contracts.
• Design agent memory and state management across complex workflows.
• Own agent quality and evaluation pipelines for releases.
• Instrument observability and cost attribution for runs.
