Pathward, N.A. is seeking a Financial Crimes Quality Assurance (QA) Sr. Analyst to support 2LoD oversight across BSA/AML, Sanctions, and Fraud.

This remote-friendly, hybrid company emphasizes inclusion and strong governance, delivering high-quality financial products. You will validate analyst work, drive QA process improvements, and partner with the QA Manager to enhance QA practices and reporting across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or related field.
• 5-8+ years of progressive experience in Financial Crimes (AML, Sanctions, Fraud).
• Experience in 2LoD Compliance / Financial Crimes oversight or QA/testing of Financial Crimes functions.
• Knowledge of BSA/AML and sanctions regulatory expectations; 3 lines of defense governance.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks of analyst work to ensure consistency with QA standards.
• Provide coaching and guidance to QA Analysts.
• Support calibration activities to maintain consistent QA outcomes across the team.
• Review deficiencies and issues for appropriateness, completeness, and severity.
• Assist with validation of remediation and closure evidence; support QA reporting and metrics.
• Execute complex QA reviews across 2LoD Financial Crimes processes (BSA/AML, Sanctions, Fraud).
• Evaluate accuracy, risk-based judgments, and alignment with internal standards and regulatory expectations.
• Identify gaps in 2LoD oversight and help develop QA methodologies and test scripts.
