Pathward, a hybrid, remote-office company, is seeking a Financial Crimes QA Analyst I to support 2LoD QA across AML, Sanctions, and Fraud. The role emphasizes oversight, challenge, and governance in line with regulatory expectations. Onsite locations exist nationwide, with a flexible hybrid work model.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of Financial Crimes experience, plus strong analytical skills and familiarity with risk management frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Financial Crimes (AML, Sanctions, Fraud).
• Strong knowledge of BSA/AML, sanctions, and 2LoD roles.

Responsibilities

• QA Review Execution: assess accuracy, completeness, and governance of 2LoD casework and decisions.
• Thematic & Horizontal Reviews: identify systemic weaknesses and policy interpretation gaps.
• Issue Management & Reporting: document gaps, assign severity, track remediation.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Credible Challenge: provide independent challenge within Compliance.
• Continuous Improvement: standardize oversight and leverage data analytics for QA.
