Pathward is seeking a Financial Crimes QA Analyst I to execute our quality assurance program for 2LoD activities across BSA/AML, Sanctions, and Fraud. You will review casework, governance, and escalation decisions with the aim of ensuring consistency, accuracy, and regulatory alignment.

You will provide credible challenge, identify gaps, and help strengthen risk management and oversight. This role supports regulator readiness and continuous improvement within Compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in finance, business, risk management, or related field.
• 2+ years in Financial Crimes (AML, Sanctions, Fraud) with 2LoD oversight or QA experience.
• Knowledge of BSA/AML, sanctions, and three-lines-of-defense framework.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA reviews of 2LoD casework and decisions for accuracy and completeness.
• Evaluate 2LoD oversight and escalation effectiveness.
• Document findings with root cause and remediation guidance.
• Support credible challenge and regulatory examination readiness.
