Job summary

Lanteris Space Systems is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join the Program Finance team. This role can be based either in our Palo Alto, CA office or remotely in the US.

You will work with Program Managers and CAMs to oversee all spend, perform variance analyses, track spend against forecasts, and support annual planning and contract changes. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics; four additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
• Minimum of 5 years in total, with at least 4 years as a Financial Analyst.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all program spend including cost of sales, R&D and capital expenditures.
• Perform monthly variance analysis to identify program risk and opportunities.
• Review weekly labor and non-labor expenses and provide metrics to the program team.
• Track monthly spend vs forecasts and highlight issues.
• Support CAMs in finding trade-offs to stay within budget.
• Provide cost analysis for contract change orders and support forecasting reviews.
