Job summary

Lanteris Space Systems is seeking a Sr. Accounting Manager to support technical accounting, financial reporting, and SOX compliance in a fast-paced environment.

The role can be based in Palo Alto, CA or performed remotely, with preference for CST-friendly remote candidates. You will lead a team of direct reports, prepare complex accounting memos, manage month-end close, and coordinate with external auditors while leveraging SAP, FloQast, and LeaseQuery to optimize processes and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA required.

Responsibilities

• Own and prepare technical accounting memos for complex transactions.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Lead month-end close including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Support SOX compliance and internal controls testing.
• Coordinate with external auditors on accounting positions and deliverables.
• Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights.
• Drive process improvements and close efficiency initiatives.
• Support SAP, FloQast, and LeaseQuery systems.
• Manage a team of direct reports.
