BOLD is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Payments to translate large data sets into actionable insights and influence payment strategies within our ecommerce business. Qualifications

• Finance, Economics, Statistics or a related degree (required).
• 4 to 6 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, statistics, or a highly analytical finance role.
• Ability to collaborate with and across teams throughout the company, including Finance, Platform, Customer Support, Product, and Marketing to drive results.
• Extensive experience in building complex financial models, conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis and scenario analysis.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
• Experience presenting analysis to senior executives and working as a business partner across all departments.
• Thrives in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Advanced Excel and Pivot Table proficiency and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify patterns in payment processing success, chargeback, and fraud rates by analyzing large quantities of data.
• Monitor and forecast payment-related metrics, such as acceptance rate and fraud rate, and predict customer behaviors through data analysis and modeling.
• Understand the key drivers of company KPIs (e.g., conversion rate, lifetime value of a customer, chargeback rate, and fraud rate) and the relative contribution of those drivers to the business performance through financial and statistical modeling.
• Monitor payment acceptance rates and track performance trends to proactively recommend adjustments to our payment processor allocation strategies when shifts occur.
• Review transaction and chargeback data across various card brands, processors, and gateways to monitor performance trends, proactively identify anomalies, and recommend solutions to address issues.
• Make recommendations to improve operations, anti-fraud processes and system enhancements.
