Job summary

Warner Music Group seeks a Sr. Analyst, Financial to join our Global Business Services team. Based in Nashville and fully remote within the U.S., you will own complex participation statements, month-end close tasks, and variance analyses, translating artist and label agreements into robust financial models.

You’ll mentor analysts and partner across finance, legal, and label teams. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in a sophisticated financial role, strong Excel, and deep knowledge of P&L,

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 3-5 years of professional financial experience in a sophisticated capacity
• Advanced proficiency with MS Excel is crucial
• Understanding of P&L, reconciliations, fiscal close processes and internal controls
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience in Music, Media, or Entertainment preferred
• Proficiency with SAP S4 Hana, SAP Analysis for Office, BI and SharePoint

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation, analysis and review of participation profit-share and distribution financial statements
• Perform fiscal month-end close tasks, including true-ups, reconciliations and accruals
• Act as primary “Variance Detective” and quality gatekeeper for data fluctuations
• Translate artist and label agreements into financial models for large data sets
• Analyze large transactional data sets to support statements, budgets and cash forecasts
• Address artist inquiries, data issues or audit claims to mitigate financial risk
• Mentor analysts and deliver training on Participations accounting processes
• Build relationships across label finance, legal and senior executives
• Contribute to department evolution with process improvements and automation
• Support audit readiness and internal controls across the Participations team
