Job summary

Warner Music Group seeks a Sr. Analyst, Financial to join the Global Participations team. This fully remote US role focuses on complex participation reporting, month-end close, and variance analysis to deliver precise insights under deadlines.

You will translate artist and label agreements into financial models, mentor junior analysts, and collaborate with label finance, legal, and senior executives to drive accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years professional experience in a financial role.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Excel and large data sets.
• Strong problem solving, ownership, and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation, analysis and review of complex participation statements.
• Perform month-end close tasks, reconciliations and expense accruals.
• Serve as variance detective, narrating data fluctuations for management.
• Translate artist and label agreements into financial models.
• Analyze large data sets to support budgets, reports and forecasts.
• Investigate inquiries and risk, proposing resolutions to management.
• Mentor analysts and train new hires on Participations processes.
• Build relationships with label finance, legal and senior executives.
• Champion automation and process improvements across the team.
