Job summary

CBRE Government Services is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to provide strategic financial leadership across multi-site, labor-intensive contracts. The role blends FP&A, accounting oversight, and decision support to optimize profitability and governance.

The position is remote with a preference for candidates in Central or Eastern time zones. Key duties include budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic advisory to operations and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
• Master’s degree (MBA or Finance-related) preferred.
• 7–12+ years of progressive finance experience; 3+ years in leadership/supervisory role.
• Experience supporting government contracting and/or outsourced facilities management preferred.
• Certifications: CPA, CMA or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial leadership and advisory to CSS operational leadership on profitability, margins, and cost structure.
• Lead annual operating plan, budgeting, forecasts, and variance analysis; translate results into actionable recommendations.
• Oversee financial performance of government and/or commercial service contracts with compliance to FAR/CAS/GAAP and internal controls.
• Manage AP/GL close, labor and subcontractor accruals, vendor costs, and SOX-compliant revenue recognition.
• Develop financial models for contract changes, pricing scenarios, staffing, and productivity initiatives.
